Antique, labeled8091 Made in Soviet Union, 10 stockinette cloth Russian doll

  

Early, 1920s antique, stockinette cloth, ethnic doll. This charming stockinette cloth doll has molded and finely painted features including beautiful blue eyes with highlights and rosy cheeks.

Her hands have individually stitched fingers and separate thumbs and she wears all her original colorful and layered clothing with sewn-in label. This includes a pretty, floral printed (full length) apron with red cotton border, pretty floral printed. Babushka covering her long blond hair in thick braid around her head, black cotton skirt.

With wide red border, a long, peasant-style, cotton blouse with long full sleeves with red inserts and gathered cuffs, striped undergarment and darling, dark brown leatherette shoes with leather-like soles and knit. She is in super clean and bright condition with no stains with her label securely stitched to her petticoat. She is in excellent, clean condition with no stains, holes, no damages or repairs and no odors as she is from a smoke free home. These dolls make a nice family group when displayed together.
