Vtg USSR Alexandrite 875 Silver Choker Band Necklace Soviet Russian Pendant

  

Up for sale is an amazing vintage choker with large pendant and a rectangular cut piece of Alexandrite that shifts from reddish-purple to greenish blue depending on the light. It is marked 875 with the Soviet hammer and sickle inside a star. The other mark is difficult to read, but I think it says, "2VD" which may date the piece to 1972. It weighs 30.88 grams in total.

Necklace is in good working condition with some tarnish and light wear.
