RAREST HELIOS 44-2 Russian Soviet USSR Lens M42 - Based on Zeiss Biotar. The lens has 8 aperture blades!

The Ultra Rare Latest Version of the Helios 44-2 Lens. GREAT SHARPNESS and VERY BEAUTIFUL BOKEH!

Founded in 1957, MMZ was located in Minsk, Belarus, approximately 720 Km (450 miles) southwest of Moscow. Initial production was optical glass and the Chaika, Smena... In 1971, MMZ became Be LOMO. Condition: New, Unused surplus in Excellent condition. Glass is clean and clear, no scratches, no dust inside, no fungus.

The iris blades is free of oil (it is very important for all lenses - the blades must be free of oil). The diaphragm-control ring turns smoothly and accurate. The focusing is smooth and precise. The iris blades must be absolutely free of oil, not acceptable even a little oil because this - "a little oil" will be on glass inside of a lens on a sunny day. Comes with Original Box, Front Lens Cap and Rear M42 Lens Cap.
