Late Cold War Soviet Union, Russian Second Pattern Lifchik Chest Rig. I believe this has been modified by removing a strap which attached the straps across the back to a waist strap. They were typically modified by the end user to lengthen or shorten the size of the straps. This one appears to be produced in 1988. Feel free to ask questions or for additional photos.
