1980s RAKETA COPERNICUS KOPERNIK vintage USSR Russian Soviet watch moon sun

This is Soviet watch Raketa Copernicus. It was made in USSR in the end of 1980s. It got this name for unusual shape of hours and minutes hands - made in shape of circle. The watch is in perfectly working order.

It is used as seen on the images below but runs well and keeps time accurately. The watch has been serviced (cleaned, lubricated and calibrated) by a professional watchmaker. It comes with a new leather strap. The watch has been serviced by a professional watchmaker.

All parts tested for wear. Broken ones have been replaced with good parts. All parts washed up in gasoline. The movement was put whole, then lubricated and calibrated. The case was silver plated (refurbished).
