A pair of antique early Soviet period Russian Silver over solid 56/ 14K Green Gold pendant earrings set with natural Russian Imperial Jade and old European cut Russian Diamonds. This pair is very rare and is believed to be one of very few or one of a kind ever made. These Russian Imperial Jade settings are of highest quality that look very much like Emeralds and only tests show their true nature. Semitransparent and of vivid bright Green color both stones show inclusions and flows.

Cut and polished as cabochons each stone measures 15 mm x 7 mm x 5.5 mm / ca. There are total 52 old diamond cut diamonds on this pair , of gradual diameters with culets cut off, color ca F, G / VVS measuring from Ø 1.25 mm / 0.01 ct each - to Ø 2.5 mm /0.06 ct. Estimated total diamond weight is 1 carat. All stones have backs open.

The earrings are marked with 56 zolotnik (14K) Gold standard with St. Petersburg assay mark that was still in use between 1917 -1927. Length of each earring is 48 mm including the lock hangers. Weight : 9 grams pair Used Finest condition. No apparent replacements, no damages to the stones or repairs.
