USSR Soviet Russian Military x20 BMT-110 German Flak Big Eye Binoculars Viewer

  

Offered is a Soviet made binoculars (a panoramic comfortable 3D viewer) that was mounted on military boat decks. Made in Kazan Optic Mechanical Factory. "KOMZ" x20 magnification with 5° super extra wide angle. Eye pieces lenses diameter is 40mm.

Actual eye viewing area is 36mm. 5 degree for x20 is a lot! It has 3 built-in filters: yellow, polarized (a little darker) and black for sun and nuclear explosion observation.

Dimensions: 20.5" (or 26" with the visor) x 10" x 8". Weight is 19kg (42 lb).

The view is very detailed, clear and stereoscopic, regular binoculars are not even near that. Wide focus range, starting from 50 meters to infinity. Great for astronomical view of large star areas.

When looking at stars there's no double vision! Not many well tuned binoculars can do that. The binoculars was cleaned and lubricated, so the condition of the optics is perfect, like new. Colamination is perfect, all prisms have not been moved from factory settings. Actually it is now BETTER THAN NEW, because if you get new unserviced binoculars they would be already 30-40 years old and over time they become cloudy, old wax gets dry and might get on prisms.

The mask had a hinge broken on one side (can still see it on the photo with tripod), but it is now repaired. These binoculars come with a tripod originally designed for a speaker, but it works with binoculars just as well.

It was very hard to find and bring these binoculars from Russia many years ago, and now, due to the war and sanctions, it's just impossible to export such military optic device outside of Russia. It will be double boxed and insured. Pick-up is available from Florida, Tampa area. Please study the photos for all details, you'll get what you see.
