Born in Altai region, Russia. He graduated from Alma-Ata Art College (1940-44) and Kyiv Institute of Art (1944-50) where he studied under the guidance of A. Since 1951 he participated in the republican exhibitions.

People's Artist of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic since 1977. Well-known works include "A Cossack has gone to War". His works are in the museum of Ukraine they are exhibited on the auctions and the western galleries. Size: 35x26 cm (14 x 10 in). The pictures of this Russian painter and others are on the auctions and in the galleries by prices in 5-10 times higher than I have.
