Founded in 1962, Raketa was produced out of the Petrodvorets Watch Factory, which dates back the 1700's and Peter the Great. Raketa produced watches for the Red Army, Soviet Navy, North Pole expeditions, and civilians, and got its name from the Russian word for rocket. Beautiful time machine from the soviet Russia, unusual dial with arabic numerals. The silver case and interesting dial draw attention to this watch.

A hand-wound mechanical watch activates the crown, which winds a spring inside the movement. The watch is in full working order, professionally maintained, cleaned and lubricated.
