For sale today is my personal collection of 34 very rare Russian and USSR mechanical chronographs. Poljot, Strela, Sturmanskie, Pilot, Aviator, Komandirskie, Junkers. All of them (with the exception of the 2 German made Junkers) are made by the Russian (former USSR) company Poljot in the 1st MChZ (First Moscow Watch Factory) in Moscow, Russian Federation (and in the former USSR).
The watches are made between the late 1950's and early 2000's. Most of them are made in the 70s, 80s and early 90s of the last century.
All watches are mechanical hand winding chronographs. The movements found inside are all variables of the famous sturdy and reliable 3133 23 jewel Russian made movement. Within the variables are the ones with the additional 24 hour dial, moon phase dial, day/date dial. One watch (Strela on picture #4, first right) has 3017 movement.
The cases are made mostly of stainless steel, some of titanium, and some of brass. The crystals are sapphire, mineral glass and Plexiglas - depending on the production date and model. Some watches have screw down crowns, rotating inner or outer bezel and see through case backs. All watches (except the Poljot Okean) are original, not altered, modified, frankensteined - to the best on my knowledge. Poljot Okean has original case, movement and hands but I replaced the dial.
Some of them - around 10 are new unworn NOS (from new old stock), all others are in mint collectors condition. All watches (except the 3 on picture #5) work and keep time, chronographs work - start, stop, reset; date changes correct at 12 midnight and fast date set works as it should. Please understand that due to the age and the subject of the collection the precise timekeeping and water tightness can not be and is not guaranteed.
The 3 watches on picture # 5 work as well but need some mechanical repairs (contact for details). Also the black dialed Sturmaskie (in the middle) is not in mint condition but in very good one. All watches (except one) are coming with bracelets or straps, some of them original, some not. Some watches are coming with their boxes and papers and I will do my best to pack them accordingly. All of these watches are very rare nowadays, not produced any more and highly sought after within the collectors.
However, the ones on picture #6 are much more rare then the others - again, contact for details if you are not aware. I will not separate the collection - DO NO ASK. With any questions and concerns, or for more information and pictures don't hesitate to contact me.
I will try to answer your question or concerns to the best of my knowledge. When possible I will include movement pictures, but for most of them I will not - no reason to risque to scratch the case or back just to satisfy somebody's curiosity. If you are looking at this listing you certainly know how the movement look alike.Unreasonable offers will be silently ignored - no time or desire to discus. Thanks for looking at my listing and good luck. The item "COLLECTION of 34 Russian/USSR chronographs POLJOT, STRELA, STURMANSKIE, etc.
