You are looking at vintage solid gold Poljot watch. The watch comes from late 70's Soviet Russia are.

At the time solid gold watches were pretty rare in Russia, as they were very expensive. The gold watch would cost approximately two months worth of paychecks of the average Russian worker. Most of these watches were worn by high level nomenclature people.

It's only natural that now they are all collectable items and pretty scarce. This is a men's watch 34mm without crown and 42mm lug to lug. The case is 8.5mm thick. Made in First Moscow State factory - Kirovskie - which carried brand Poljot.

Inside is a very reliable 2609 manual wind movement which was in production from early 70's till late 90's. Overall condition of the watch is excellent. Below is a detailed explanation of condition. Dial: Excellent, shows minimal patina and no extensive wear.

Hands: Excellent, show minimal wear. Looks like an original crystal, shows some scratches, but overall in very good condition, no cracks. Shows faint scratches and signs of use. Since it's a solid gold can be polished to perfection. Just services, runs strong and accurate.

Band: Soft leather Russian made band, may be original! Gold purity: 583, which correlates with 14k rose gold, Case and case back are marked accordingly. Total gold weigh: 14.8g. The watch runs great and was serviced just days ago.

It went through a complete overhaul with movement being taken completely apart, cleaned, oiled and regulated. (refer to disassembly picture of the movement). Extra attention was paid to make it as accurate as possible.
