USSR Soviet Russian VINTAGE Transistor Radio Receiver. Selena B-215 LW FM UHF. This radio has been produced since 1985 at the Minsk Production Association "Gorizont" plant. The history of the plant began in 1939, when equipment from the "Elektrit" radio plant in Vilnius (Lithuania) was transported to Minsk. In the 1960s, transistor radios began to gain popularity. In 1972 there was a strong explosion with a large number of casualties. The enterprise was restored, the Gorizont plant is still operating and has a full technological cycle: casting of body parts, production of foam packaging, installation of radio elements and final assembly. In very good condition radio Selena B-216 by Gorizont (1980s, USSR) is a rare radio device from the last series produced in Belarus during the USSR era. The radio is designed to receive radio broadcasting stations in the long, medium, short and VHF ranges. Radio is not currently in production. This radio looks solid - it is large and heavy in a wooden case with a beautiful decorative aluminum front panel. The factory configuration of the receiver has been preserved as much as possible.

The sound it produces cannot be forgotten or confused with anything - it is truly "warm, tube-like, ". The radio successor has a redesigned unit to receive the full FM band. A radio receiver from an early series, assembled on germanium transistors: all subsequent modifications were assembled on silicon transistors. The receiver contains auxiliary devices.

Smooth tone control for high and low sound frequencies. Switchable automatic frequency control (AFC) system in the VHF range. Magnetic antenna in the DV and SV range. Telescopic rotating antenna in the VHF and HF bands.

The receiver has devices for connecting: external antenna for LW, FM, MW, SW bands (divided into 5 subbands). Operates on 220v or batteries. The radio comes with original power cable. USED, WORKING WELL, SOUND is GOOD. USSR Military Old Stock Warehousing. Any questions - please message me!
